IMAX Is Now Coming To Europe With VR!
IMAX has recently made a deal so as to keep its touch with Europe’s biggest movie theatre chain in order to open a “Virtual Reality centre” in Manchester. It will get open by the end of this year. The Virtual Reality centre will be made inside the Odeon & UCI Cinemas Group theatres which will let the public play games. They watch films and will be able to move inside the interactive VR immersive watch films, and move through interactive virtual-reality experiences.
There are many several IMAX VR theatres working worldwide and now this is one of several VR installations of IMAX in Europe. It is already planning to open six at the end of the year like in China, Japan, the Middle East, and Western Europe and previously it was launched in Los Angeles.
The Virtual Reality centres seem to be somewhat experimental at first IMAX is saying the use the pilot has certain locations to test the several factors which include the overall customer experience, pricing models, and the types of content features. IMAX says that the first round of Virtual Reality experiences will last for minimum 5 and maximum of 15 minutes.
