Virtual Reality is being tried in every possible field like medical, education, military etc. It is like a morning dew drop that every VR enthusiast wants to have a glance of it in their respective field. In the most recent news, Retail Marketing wants to try their hands on VR. They want to engage more and more customers as to drive more sales. As for now, they are trying to install VR based Retail marketing in the store but as the development progress, customers or retailers will have access to the brands by just sitting at home.
Retailers are planning to sell products via headsets but currently they have to compromise a little on this thought as Facebook is yet to release new Oculus VR platform that will allow Netflix, Hulu, Twitch, and Vimeo videos to play on that platform.
Shopkeepers in US are already embracing VR into their business. 74% have shown positive attitude on VR being introduced into their business. Shoppers have said that as many as 17% will less likely going to visit an actual retail store. VR is believe to give an actual real life experience and that is why 24% would love to purchase products online and 33% are expected to shop with a retailer that provides a VR experience.
With the introduction of this technology in commerce, consumers are having a negative impression that it might discourage their visit to the actual physical store but retailers are trying hard to hold customers for bit longer than usual in the physical store by giving them fancy and glamorized opportunities and encouraging them more in physical shopping.
Introduction of VR in various disciplines like medical where advances have been done where Medical students have actually said good-bye to the heavy and boring text books and joined hands with VR based autonomy and so on. It has given a chance to build an extensive range of library of VR in which everything will be arranged genres wise like medical, generating employment in future, cars dealerships, and travel companies or for YouTube, etc.
