Netflix recently released one of the most talked about and exciting show, Stranger Things in Virtual Reality as a part of its initial trial of producing and promoting content in the immersive technology. As a result, the show ever since after its release in VR has not only won many a heart but has also made people shit their pants as it takes the creepy quotient of the show to a whole new level.
In the light of recent events, the cast of Stranger Things was made to experience their own show in virtual reality to letting them be in the shoes of the audience. Thus, the cast of show including Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) along with the creators of the show, Ross and Matt Duffer were made to slip into the immersive environment of Stranger Things wearing Virtual Reality Headsets and Tracking Gear from HTC Vive and we wish they were braver than this.
Here’s a video where you can watch the cast and the creators screaming with fear as all the creepy and spooky stuff projected in the show starts to happen in VR.
