Over the years, Virtual Reality (VR) has gained popularity among various businesses. We know that VR is mostly used in providing ravishing gaming experiences. But in today’s world, it is also being used for numerous medical advances, be it training doctors and nurses in new techniques or treating patients or helping them overcome phobias.
Hatsumi- a Virtual Reality healthcare platform aims to bridge the intersection of healthcare, art, and technology. It is presenting its first ever exhibition, ‘NooSphere: Mindfulness in a Hyper-Connected World’ during the Brighton Digital Festival next month.
‘NooSphere: Mindfulness in a Hyper-Connected World’, presented by Hatsumi VR in collaboration with TOMtech, invites guests on a 60-minute long journey through three immersive experiences i.e. breathe, embody, and visualize mindfulness.
According to Hatsumi VR descriptions, the scientists and the meditation gurus have sung the praises of mindfulness that can be harnessed as a technique to improve the mental well-being of an individual. Since we are living in an age of hyper-connectivity, it is very normal that mental stress is perpetuated often. Perhaps we can use technology as a tool to regulate our emotions, connect with ourselves, and regain control over our bodies and minds.
This 60-minute long exhibition is an individual experience, designed for one person every 15 minutes with sessions running the entire day. This is being held at The Old Market from 20th – 23rd September. The tickets are available for individuals above 16 years of age.
